Rankers on a scan
Every scan needs ranking rules. You compose them in the scan form from saved severity rankers plus optional scan-specific rules.
Composing the rules
- Select any number of saved rankers - their rules are concatenated in the order you pick them.
- Add optional scan-specific rules in the free-text box; they're appended after the selected rankers.
The combined text is what the model uses to order this scan's findings. The result can't be empty - provide at least one saved ranker or some scan-specific rules.
When ranking runs
After the workflow finishes and findings are de-duplicated, the ranker orders the canonical findings by priority. That ordering is what you see in the scan's findings list, and it drives which findings surface first.
